Il documentario segue il percorso dei tre protagonisti mostrando gli scorci migliori dell’avventura composta da circa 60km di tragitto con 5500m di dislivello. Le immagini dell’impresa sono commentate dai tre giovani atleti con l’intento di far emergere le emozioni provate durante le faticose salite e discese per i pendii ripidi delle montagne per completare l’intero tragitto nell’arco di solo 12 ore . Il film non vuole solo mostrare le gesta di tre giovani atleti, ma l’amicizia che lega i tre protagonisti, l’affetto che li ha spinti a condividere quest’avventura insieme e l’amore sterminato per il territorio locale.

Rhiannan Iffland Back On The Road In Bulgaria Looking For The Perfect Cliff  Following on from her recent diving adventures in France and Romania, four-time Red Bull Cliff Diving champion Rhiannan Iffland was back on the road again recently, this time searching for the perfect take-off points in Bulgaria.  Along with her partner and coach, Todor Spasov, the Australian once again treated her fans to a little taste of what they’ve been missing this year, displaying her skills from a series of cliffs, a stunning bridge and a magnificent monolith in Spasov’s homeland.  Never one for treading the beaten track, as evidenced by her recent ‘world’s first’ underground salt mine dive in Romania, Iffland once again pushed herself to the limit at these beautiful but challenging spots. Tricky take-off points, narrow landing areas and even a swarm of jellyfish couldn’t stop this all-conquering cliff diver.

La storia di Jof comincia con un luogo, l’estremità delle Alpi orientali, chiamate Carniche e Giulie, che toccano Italia, Slovenia ed Austria. Queste montagne, nel primo inverno dopo il lockdown italiano, dovuto alla pandemia di Covid-19 diventano luogo di riflessione. Attraverso un approccio lento, privo delle ‘performance’ produttive richieste dalla nostra società, ho deciso di attraversare questi luoghi con gli sci per ricercarne il senso e la storia. E’ un progetto sperimentale che si pone come sfida quella di mettere assieme diversi temi, cifre stilistiche e strategie narrative attraverso una mini serie web con puntate di 10-15 minuti. Questa è la puntata pilota.

The documentary, Melting Landscapes – Glaciers, showing the slow, but constant melting of our earth’s glaciers and its relationship with climate change, was shot in Antarctica, Argentina, Chile, Greenland and Iceland. The study of our planet’s glaciers is key to understanding climate change. Glaciers store 75% of our fresh water, reflect excess heat back to space and keep our planet cool. A small air bubble trapped in ice millions of years ago possesses valuable information about past climate and analysing them provides direct data on when they were created. Global warming is causing accelerated fusion of Arctic ice, the Greenland mantle and the most vulnerable regions of Antarctica, altering their habitats, ocean currents and the climate worldwide. In listening to our earth’s glaciers recede in a disturbing silence, we are witnessing a change with no return, as each disappearing small ice particle slowly takes us one step closer to uncertain alteration.
